Culture Night Japan Malaysia 2012

The first Culture Japan Night for Malaysia was held last Monday, a day after Anime Festival Asia finished at the 6th floor of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The brain child of popular Japanese blogger Danny Choo, the event is where fans of the Japanese culture can mingle and meet each

other, and more importantly spend some time with Danny himself

Decked in Danny’s Culture Japan Orange/White color scheme, the event can be seen from quite far away. And fans, all 500+ of them from all over Malaysia and surrounding regions mingled and participated in activities such as card games, console gaming, as well as doll showcase. Local singers and bands serenades the crowd throughout the night as well, singing Japanese songs to fit the theme of the night

Also visitors can see all the various versions of Danny’s “daughter”, Mirai Suenaga, complete with cosplayers depicting her, as well as the card game that also features her, MoeKana.
